About Moorehall Living
Founded by Michael McCoy in 1998, the Moorehall Group enjoys a reputation as a provider of high-quality services based on a family-run ethos, a consistent core team and a commitment to innovation and quality which has been highlighted in the national media.
Following the success of Moorehall Lodge nursing home in Ardee, Co Louth, we have developed new services including Moorehall Homecare and Moorehall Day and Disability Service as well as our new facility in Drogheda.
Our household ethos means that our residents and staff are always at home with their environment and each other.
We offer a continuum of high-quality care to suit all changing needs, from home and post-hospital requirements following acute illness through to a residential setting.
We are recognised by HIQA as consistently providing the very best in care standards.
Moorehall Lodge was involved in the creation of the HSE-led Places To Flourish guidelines to improve the residential care experience for older people in the public, private and voluntary sectors, in conjunction with the Netwell Centre at Dundalk Institute of Technology and the School of Nursing at the University of Ulster.
We are working with leaders in the field of dementia research and training to develop the highest standards of care available in Ireland, tailored to the specific needs of people living with dementia and their families.
Our ground-breaking Butterfly Dementia Care project was the subject of a five-page magazine feature in the Sunday Business Post in April 2012.
